Default OT - Atlanta autox this weekend

Anyone know if there is a practice session, or if both days are only for points?

Thanks

What do you mean by a practice session? Are you running for the first time? If so, you'd be running in Novice class which doesn't have a point system. However, if you've been running the events for the most of the year, you'd get points based on your result. Just come down and run Novice... it's $25 per day (3-5 runs depending on the crowd). Hope that answers your question.

Saturdays are usually practice and Sundays are usually points. Both days may be points though, but you can run Novice for fun. And I think it's $35 if you're not an SCCA member.

Also, make sure you get all the crap out of your car before you show up. You'll have to take everything out to pass inspection... And bring lots of water!

Both Sat and Sun are for points (#9 and #10)... if you're keeping the score.

I've run a few times before, it's just I couldn't remember if they allowed novices to run during SCCA point sessions. Their schedule sometimes says 'Points' and sometimes says 'Practice', but I assume from what you guys are saying is that Novices can always run, they just don't accumulate points (for obvious reasons)

Thanks for the 'fo
