hey.anyone got preformance cams in a b18a... with p30 pistons?

just wonering how big i can go with these pistons...goin for all motor ls engine here ......

I had PR3's with crower 403's no problems with that at all. the head was shaved a decent amount too.

 

are those a pretty big cam??

not really big...........but big enough to make some decent power.

 

i got 2nd gen b16 pistions and looking for cams in a b18a... any suggestions?

 

403s very good cams and are streetable.. it can idel ok without tuning.. won't idle if you turn on the AC. 404's required some sort of fuel management.. I got a nice set of 403's for sale along with a SAFC. I can do 360 for both shipped.

look in to the crower cams and check out the website they have. There is alot info. in there. We have used crower casm is a B20 and it ran very strong.

 

p30 pistons are fine, they fit right on ls rods. bump the compression to something like 11:1

Mine idle fine w/ the AC on full blast in the 120 degree summers here.

 

i have stage 2 crane cams with the stock pistons and they're fine. They add a decent amount of mid-top end power but i had to upgrade the valve springs.

 

are they b16 pistons....i wanted to get stage 1 or stage 2 crane cams and 2nd gen b16 pistons
