p30 ecu in my GSR???

p30 ecu in my GSR???
I got the GSR for about 3 weeks now. When i opened the ecu cover, i noticed that the ecu wasn't a stock p72, instead it was a p30. What does this mean and will it effect my car??? Sorry im a noobie, so i wouldn't know much about ecu's. Please help!
