1999 Acura Integra Swap Info?
Sorry guys if you have already seen this kind of question but I'm somewhat a newbie to this area. I currently have a 1999 Acura Integra LS (B18B1). I was thinking about doing a GSR (B18C1) swap into my car. Will I be able to use any parts of my B18B1 (i.e. tranny) or will I need the complete setup of the B18C1 to work in my car? Any information or sugguestion will be greatful. Thanks.
Yes the LS tranny should fit. All B series trannies fit all B series motors, so an and so forth. If i were you, i would just build up the internals and turbo that LS motor. It will most definitely be cheaper and get more gains from it. Just some of my thoughts to share with you!
THE LS TRANNY,AXELS,MOUNTS,SHIFTLINKAGE, ALL OF THAT WILL WORK F U SWAP TO GSR, BUT IF UR PLANNING ON DRAGGING THAT CAR I WOULDNT PUT LS TRANNY UP TO A B18C1 MY BOY HAD A 00SI AND BLEW HIS TRANNY SO WE PUT A SPARE LS IN IT FOR THE TIME BEING AND HIS THIRD GEAR WENT ALL THE WAY UP TO 103MPH B4 HE HIT 4TH GEAR! THAT WOULD BE GOOD FOR ROAD RACING, BUT NOT FOR DRAG!, OR FREEWAY DRIVING HEHE

Building the bottom end and going turbo is cheaper than doing an LS/VTEC. Oh no kidding I wish someone would have told me that sooner..........
