Hey guys did search and it did not help. My JDM itr shift linkage came with a chrome looking shifter, I was wondering if this was OEM or an aftermarket crap..thanks in advance

00-01 USDM shifters are chrome. I have a chrome shifter.

 

I have a JDM shift linkage in my car and the shifter is chrome looking. It's OEM as far as I can tell.

 

Yeap, all chrome shifter and a ti **** on top of it!

 

usdm **** is aluminum. The jdm **** has a more shiny color to it and i believe it is supposed to be titanium. I have the jdm one on my car.

 

Sorry I didn't clarify guys. I'm talking about the shifter itself, not the shift ****. Im just concerned because I don't want to put a cheap shifter on. If its oem like you guys say it is, I will install it....thanks in advance

 

yeah that's oem. Just letting people know that there are two kinds of type-r *****. Most people think they are the same.

 

Yep, it does come with a chrome one. My B18C Spec 98 came with a chrome one but no shift ****. Damn Stephen at hmotorsonline.com lol

 

Yeah ******* steve sent me a jdm front end with no bumper support. Cost me 100 bucks to get one to finish the front and he never paid me back. He said he would give me 100 off my next purchase, but I shouldn't be forced to do that.

JDM Inc sent me a front clip with demolished fenders, and the bumper support was screwed up too. You never know what your going to get from these places...

The shifter (not the ****) was chrome too. I first thought it was aftermarket myself. Good thing it's not. I hate short shifters

yep. Back when I ordered it was hondamotorsonline.com but they were sued by Honda for using their name. Steve is a nice guy, but he's too pushy and he doesn't stand up for his customers.

 

Yeah its definitely chrome, at least my jdm 97 spec linkage is chrome. Hope we were of some help.

 

Pretty sure my 98 ITR shifter is black.

And Primo, is your's a JDM ITR? I think this may only apply to JDM models (Or ones with JDM motor/trans swaps)
