anyone have any info on BATTLE OF THE IMPORTS schedule for 2004 season?
nothing is posted on there web site.

 

i heard they were giving it out at SEMA. i was there and couldn't find one.i heard schedule is almost the same here in Cali.

 

would you know any dates?

that would be sweet if they hold a battle event at infineon

 

I talked to the rep. from Sears Point (Infineon) and he said 2004 is all booked, also the NHRA race in 2003 didn't make them any money. That is why they cancelled the 2004 NHRA race.

All that is shown on the webpage is for 2003. The '04 schedule that I posted was directly from my source at the IDRA.

If you click on the 2003 Schedule on the front page, you go to a page with a schedule that is different then the event listing on the front page. So im really confused I guess.

i knew it was too good to be true,.... it would be cool if they move up to oregan and go to woodburn were NHRA drop for 2004.. that would be nice..i love that track..

 

Pacific Raceway in Kent, Wa does anyone know how good of a track it is, just curious?

year after year i am amazed. out of all the available race weekends about 3 of them conflict with the ndra. the moroso FL nopi and vmp VA battle, nopi maple grove and battle atco, and the nopi stl - battle mir.

what the hell is going on? last year battle claimed their schedule came out first and nopi's second. but this year the ndra schedule was out first. the 2 races at atco and maple grove are even in the same region, which is just silly. the battle series already isnt even that big, and then they conflict dates with the bigger of the 2 series?? how much sense does that make. i know there are only so many dates available from the tracks, espcially for import racing, but there has to be a way around that! i support battle, but the nopi events at this point are simply better and if they dont want us to come out and race, they should just say so instead of running the same schedule as a "competing" series

 

I'll hopefully be at MIR goin for a very optimistic 11.

 

If Frank goes to Infineon we are goin there fo sho. I don't know why the hell NHRA delted that from their schedule.

Oregon? why? whats do great about the northwestern states.

 

If you only knew about OREGON!!!! That is all I can say Wil..... Nevermind I don't wanna talk about it haha.. Danny we are going there just for fun... How often does the owner of a Chinese restaurant bring you food to the track the next day and let you hit on their FINE under-aged Niece.

Firebired is usally IDRC. they have the Season opener at Firebird this year in February I believe.
