Guys just wanna know if there are places here in SoCal where you can rent equipments for doing an engine swap like an engine hoist? Also what else besides that do i need to pull and put an engine? TIA.

try a local shop....they are usually pretty good about it especially if you go there. maybe $20-30 for a cherry picker.

 

You mean just any shop that has one? Go to them and ask if you can rent it? hmmm never thought about that but if that's what you mean, i'll try. Thanks.

 

no, I think he mean a parts shop. Most of them have a rental system where you pay for the item you are renting, and when you return it you get a total refund for the money you gave them.
