Gunmetal H Emblem
I know I have read on here how to make the stock silver H on the back turn into a black crome/gunmetel color (some type of paint). I did a search and could not find anything. Can you guys help me out please.
Thanks in Advance

when i painted my car, i didnt want much bling on it... wanted the paint to stand out. so i customized the h emblem...
Sand it down with 600 grit, then few light coats of paint... If you want to have it shiney black, go to a model store and get transparent black. Just make sure you clean the hell out of it with alcohol.. and make sure the H is warm and do light coats. 2 or 3 light coats. should look neat..

DIY_Racing >> That may have been it.. Model paint may do the trick. I want it to look like my sir bage witch is edm and is like a black crome>>meaning you can see yourself in it. I thought the way I heard it on here before was getting the crome essance in it from the stock crome color with some type of dark film paint or some **** like that???

when I had my
emblems I just sprayed light coats of Tamiya Metallic Black over the stock chrome plating. It looked pretty good, but the front one got all chipped up, since it was up front n center of course.
When I put my
emblems on, I just left them chrome.
