Default Replacing suspension bushings?

Is this a fairly simple process to do? I'm not an expert mechanic, but I do all my own oil changes, brake pad changes, spark plug/distrbutor work, etc. so I can do an average level of maintenance. Is there any place to look for directions on doing this to a 97 accord and what type of bushings should I use and where can I get them from?

I would think the ones that are not a complete PITA to do for an average mechanic. I'm getting a lot of squeaking going over bumps and and can easily see at least the one right above the top of the tire looks collapsed, probably some others as well. I know there are some in front that people suggest taking to a mechanic to get removed, but I think that involves taking off a big piece/member/rod/etc. I just want to do as much as I can easily. Can I buy individual polyurethane bushings individually anywhere and which ones could I change?

If you're going to change them, i suggest changing them all. Most likely if some of them are bad and you can see them, others are bad also.

I chagned all my bushings on my '94 Accord and yes, it is a bit of a PITA. But it all depends on how you do it. I suggest taking all your parts off that you will replace the bushings, then take it to a shop that can press the old ones out with a hydrolic press. It'll take them all but 30 min to press them all out. If you try to do it on your own, it'll take you days to do them all.

If you're expecting to get rid of squeeking though, most likely you won't by switching to poly-eurithane bushings. Even if you greese the hell out of them before installing, eventually they all tend to squeek. But the ride is a lot better. It's amazing what a difference they make and stiffen up your ride.

If you want anymore help or questions, let me know.
