Most likely cause is the reverse light switch, or the wires to the switch becoming disconnected /bad fuse, etc. Blown reverse light bulbs are rare since the amount of time spent in reverse is so small. Check at the fixture itself to see if they have power and ground. If not jumper the reverse light switch. It’s located on the trans.
PS: Do you have a SERVICE MANUAL for the car? If not that’s the FIRST thing you need to source before doing anything.
