91 si back up signals dont work, ***help***

Default 91 si back up signals dont work, ***help***

when i bought the car the backup signals did not work, fuses and everything is okay, its probably a bad ground but how would i go about finding out whats the problem?? eek this sucks! please help.

undo the plasic in the back. You probley just have blown bulbs.

Could be the reverse switch on the tranny as well. It's right on top of it, just under the distributor.

oh i checked the bulbs as well. jus forgot to put that on the post. i will check the switch. what should i check on the tranny and when i find it what should i do to make the damn thing work, lol.?

Most likely cause is the reverse light switch, or the wires to the switch becoming disconnected /bad fuse, etc. Blown reverse light bulbs are rare since the amount of time spent in reverse is so small. Check at the fixture itself to see if they have power and ground. If not jumper the reverse light switch. It’s located on the trans.

PS: Do you have a SERVICE MANUAL for the car? If not that’s the FIRST thing you need to source before doing anything.
