Default my current set up vs my future setup...

i know, i know, i know...its been asked time a many, but i'm gonna have to ask it.
ok...last dyno i made 158.1 hp. just intake, header, exhaust and chipped ecu (on a b16). do you think that w/ complete ITR top end i'll be able to pick up 12-15 whp? i know it seems extreme...but possible, yeah..no?
i know its been asked a million times before how much will i make w/ this....and how fast will i go w/ this...sorry though, i'm just curious

just get your ported and put ITR valves, springs, cams and you'll pretty much have a ITR head....if i were you i'd buy 1.8 bottomend instead

you need to not have VTEC engage at 4400 or whatever.. look at that shitty drop.. look at the huge gain at 5500.. it looks like you need to retune your "chipped ecu"

Yes it is good. About the ITR top end, I would just use the cams and valvetrain myself. But if you feel like swapping the head you should get that extra 10-12hp for sure. But wouldn't you like to bring the torque # up some too? Maybe a B18A/B or B20B/Z bottom end in the future?

to answer some questions...
1) i dont want to go throw the trouble of having the head ported n' dropping in the valves and everything right now, i found the complete ITR top end for a good price, so why not just drop it in. i mean, i could buy a b16 head, get it ported, and then assemble everything but myself, but crap...thats mucho time mucho mucho time.
2) i didn't pick the rpm x-over for vtec w/ this ecu, it came free when i got the motor (cuz he lagged and he wanted to "reward me" for my patience"
3) there's no way i wanna get a stock b18c bottom end and bolt it on for the torque. i mean, i'd much rather fork out the extra dough, more it out to 84 (very least) and upgrade the whole bottom end. bulletproof the shiet. (after blowing my first motor, there's no way i'm really gonna feel safe w/ a stock bottom end, i want reliability and safety to be key...)
4) and all costs, wanted to stay away from b20 and lsvtec. i know the numbers are tempting...but i want something thats 100% reliable, plus i can save a lot more money (doing a lot of the stuff myself rather than paying for a lot of it) and still have a better bottem end if i sleeve it.

but anyways, thanx for the input guys...as long as i get 12+ whp off this combo, i'll be stoked.
