I was driving yesterday in the slushy rain and snow with a lot of puddles around.
I dont remember going through a big puddle but i was driving and all of a sudden my car started bogging really badly.
I would give it partial throttle and it would move but very very slow then all of a sudden it would jump and it would feel like a turbo kicked in even though its N/A.
There is a cold air intake on the motor.
And also when I drive at a steady RPM like around 3k the car will be running normal then all of a sudden the car feels like ur driving in 5th gear going 10mph when im going like 65mph in 5th gear?
Any suggestion?
thanks

first of all i myself would give the car 2 or 3 oil changes(back to back) cause it will almost work as a flush for any water that might have been sucked up into your motor >>>>meaning drain then put new oil in and start motor, rev it a couple times and let it sit, then drain and do the same cycle again<<<< i know yu guys can flame it all u want but from personal experience my friend did this to a water logged motor and it really worked...
btw.... it wasnt badly water logged so could be different this time ???dont know i wasnt there when this happened... but .....almost sounds like to me that yu have an issue with ignition ......my friends motor went through water ...and yes he water logged the car...but usually in that case of a water log ...the car tends to shut down and not start back up ....and if u say u were driving on it then prolly is just ignition or something of that nature...try pulling the spark plugs out and replacing then with new ones ....maybe wires too....almost sounds like yu are running on 3 cylinders or maybe even 2???......try the plug and wire change and if it doesant solve the problem then i would suggest that yu do a compression test on the car...might be lossin compression from somewhere in the motor......yu werent very specific on the problem just that it was stuttering so i couldnt tell yu much more than that.......hope the motor is safe and good luck with everything

If this problem is intermittant and seems to come and go is it possible you got a little water in the distributor? I mean if the motor drank enough to shell it would not have a intermittant problem.
