Default painting side mirrors, rocker panels, front lip and door handles?

Now that I have my cf hood paint matched, I've been seriously entertaining the idea of getting my side mirrors, rocker panels, door handles and front lip painted milano red. I can probably score some painted OEM handles from an ex or si at a junkyard for a couple of bucks, but that still leaves the skirts lip and mirrors. Anybody know how many labor hours appx. I should be getting charged for this at a body shop? It seems like such a small job to me, paint should be cheap, and I can't see it taking long at all. . .

I would definitely consider DIY if anybody can provide convincing pics of their own DIY jobs after a couple of months of being on the car.

this is EXACTLY what i want to do after winter is over... all of the local body shops in my area seem pretty expensive, but a DIY type of thing would be awesome!

I just saw your post, your car would look sweet with those things paint matched. I know there is a couple of DIY threads around, but I want to see what those DIY painted parts look like after they have been painted for 6 months and exposed to sunlight and dirt.

i asked the guy at the body shop i usually go to and refer people to and he quoted me $450 to paint an aftermarket front lip, stock sideskirts, stock rear lip, and side mouldings. and he does quality work and has good pricing. this was for my accord but i doubt it would be different for a civic

i actually just painted my ITR lip and side skirts last weekend.. I ordered paint from http://www.towerpaint.com. you give them your paint code and they mix it up and put it in spray cans for you. i think it was like 12 bucks a can? but check out their site for more details. i also ordered a can of Bulldog paint adhesive thing from them. everything came out pretty decent. At some angles of light the paint doesnt totally match up with the stock paint, but for under 50 bucks i cant complain about that... definitely not body shop quality but good enough for me.. good thing im not a perfectionist. if you do it yourself, just make sure you do a really good job of prepping.. i got lazy on mine, so up close you can still see scratches on my lip.
