on most amps there is led's (bulbs) that indicate power/protection, basicaly a check system they should also be labled as to what bulb is lit power is usually red and protection is green

Power should come from your battery.

The BATT terminal, or +12V as it might be listed, should connect to your battery. You should put a fuse inline no farther than a foot from your battery just incase something should go wrong. The REMOTE line you run to either your radio's REM OUT, P. Antenna, or your radio's accessory wire.

i dont think it will be my battery, im thinking it is my wiring. i checked if all the positive and negative wires were all right goin to the pos/neg spots. they were good.

i also grounded my amp to the seat railing bolt that holds the seat down to the floor (has amp under seat).

about the right rca output, i dunno what that is

rem out. i dont have that connected to anything. is that bad? i dont know what to do with that one.

was there a spark when you plugged the power wire into the amp? if so, you didnt disconnect the power terminal from the battery and you blew your fuse. check the fuse, thats most likely your problem

i work at a stereo shop. heres what you do... leave the non-connection to your battery like it is. hook that lead to your amp. make sure when you run the power wire (the wire we are talking about) to your battery, run that wire on one side of the car with your rem. turn on lead. the rem. turn on lead on your deck should be blue. make sure your ground is as short as possible. then run your rca cables down the other side of the car. you want those things as far apart from the power cables as you can get. to plug the rca's in there should be some plugs on the back of your deck that are red and white. depending on what deck you have, there could be more then one set/pair. choose the pair that say rear or sub. run those like i said then plug them into the imput on the amp. it should say imput or out put. the ends will match color for color. now all you have to do is plug the sub in and tune the amp. i don't know the specs on the amp or the sub so i couldn't tell you how to wire it properly but, give it a try by just running the poss. and neg. directly to the amp. don't worry about bridging. if you tell me the specs on the amp, i can tell you how to properly wire it. i have to know how many channels the amp has and what ohm the sub is. if it has dual voice coils or not. im just gettin ya runnin. see if you get sound by following what i said. good luck dude!

This sounds like your problem.
You NEED RCA going to the amp.
The HU needs to send a signal to the amp.
and set the gain on the amp.

ok, here is something people over look, make sure the remote turn on wire is connected to the amp, and make sure its the right one. usually its baby blue or blue. and to know if ur amps on, there should be some light of some sort to tell you, if not, u gota shitty amp and goodluck . but try it out!!!
