Where is this filter located and how is it changed? The owners Manual doesn't specify and I do not have a Helms on the 98 yet. Thanks for your help!

 

Yor Micron air filter is located behind the Glove box..
If it isn't creating a problem, I wouldn't worry about it because replacing the air filter elements is not an easy task..

First you would have to remove the upper pocket cover in the center console..
Then you would remove the passenger side lower dash panel.. If you don't have experience with this process you will break off the retaining clips..

Now you will have to remove the glove box and the Air filter elements will be visible within the HVAC system... good luck..

 

THanks for the reply... doens't sound like a fun job.. how do you know when to replace this? I was thinking it was like an air filter.. the car has about 50K on it so I was just figuring it would need to be changed. I think I'll leave this one up to the Honda Delaership. Thanks for responding.
