Default time for a new clutch...

ok, i need a new clutch, actually my girl needs a new clutch. what would u recomend as far as something that feels close to stock, but is priced cheaper than the oem? basically, i was wondering if it was worth it to go use an aftermarket clutch (some stage one) for a basically stock 96 ls? would there be much money saved as opposed to going w/ an oem clutch? i dont know if that made any sense, but thanks.

A Honda or Acura dealer usually charges ~$300 for just the install (you supply clutch). You can probably find a shop that will do it for less because dealerships typically charge out the ***.
