Default Air Conditioning Filter ???

The A/C Filter. My owner's manual says to replace it. My Honda Dealer says not to replace it. Meanwhile I CAN'T EVEN FIND IT !!! I have a 1998 base model Prelude.
What's the deal?

yes it needs to be replaced every 15k. remove your glove box. you will see a removable cover about 1in. wide in between the blower motor and the evaporator. remove the cover and there are two filters right there.

First time out at the dealership is ~$120 installed. Do it yourself is $64 for the pair list price. When you get them out you will want to replace them at the interval the Owners Manual recommends-trust me they are going to be full of crud.

Thanks for the tips. Sounds easy enough.
