For the legend there is a black strip that goes all the way around the car. The ls and gs versions are painted. Mine is the ugly black color. Well I am selling my car here pretty soon and I want to repaint the black strips. Does anyone know how to remove these?

do you mean the door moulding? in the middle of the door?

you can have this removed, and then moulded over. i think its a wonderful mod to do, and really helps with the smoothness of the car.

 

heh, I was just going to lightly sand it down and repaint them black. If you take them off, do they not go back on?

usually once you pull of a molding on an old car where they have been on for a long period of time, it will retard the shape of them and will not return to the original shape. if you want them painted, they can be painted on the car. just tape around them and there ya go!
