You don't have to. The switch will just help make it cooler on top of what the thermostat will already do.

Nope. They all work independently

It might be too cold if you use the switch with the spoon stat, but why not? You're getting it at cost, sell it on h-t hah

Yes the fan switch does help on top of the thermostate. In bumper to bumper traffic the fan switch is nice since it helps cooling while the radiator isn't getting much air from slow movement.

Click the link in my signature for tons of Spoon items I'm selling. All the Spoon items are in great condition and are way under retail and probably cost.

Yes, your fan will come on more often to cool down the motor.

I do not recommened using the Spoon thermostat unless the car is a 100% track car because it simply runs too cold on the street and highway(freeway).

If your going to install everything, might as well get the thermoswitch.

Get the mugen one because it is the same thing as the spoon but costs a ton less.

I actually only reccomend using the Fan Switch or the Thermostatm no Both together.
Reason being they make the car run too cold and cause problems. Most common problems: VTEC will not engage as the car thinks it has not warmed up as well as the car running a richer fuel curve.

A few members running both parts together have experienced this including Yoshi and Austin.

For a Race Only car run both. For a street/race car run one or the other.
