I'd have to disagree, it's very quiet. Just a lil deep tone to it, but otherwise a very quiet exhaust. I have one for an accord with H22A, but now im using a custom setup. Might be mixed up with the super racing medalion usdmdc2

The SHM is a nice exhaust, I used to sell them and all my customers liked it. The fact that its fully stainless steel doesn't hurt either. The only drawback is the exhaust is NOT a straight-thru. But we all know that max HP gains comes at a price(noise). Hope this helps

The Super RACING medallion is the loud/cannon styled one. Gains are impressive but obnoxiously LOUD!!!!

I have the hyper medallion and like it a lot. It has a deep sound but doesn't cross the line into obnoxious. It has a roar when you floor it though. But overall I give it

I have the super racing medallion exhaust and it is a bit on the loud side, but only above 4500rpm.

ANother good alternative is a Thermal. Also stainless steel, and from what I heard is very deep but also not straight through. If you want the loud but straight through kind get either the hyper, or an apexi N1
