Something to look forward to...maybe...SR20DET 240SX...
Since I'm over at Enjuku Racing now figured I'd chime in some hype over here for our race car. Pardon the generic post, it's being circulated to build up hype for the next season.
In anticipation for the 2004 season, Enjuku Racing strapped down their ’92 240SX and headed to Secret Services in St. Petersburg, Florida for some record-setting dyno tuning. Still utilizing the stock bottom end, Enjuku Racing set their eyes on a prized number of 550whp, but just slightly came up short. After several hours of tuning and tweaking, Enjuku Racing is proud to say that they reached 544.2 whp with 412.6 ft/lbs of torque to boot.
We are planning to campaign this SR Powered 240SX across Florida for next year’s race season and hope that you all can come out and support Enjuku Racing and witness it yourselves. Currently we are building a new website dedicated to our race team and it’ll be up within a few days at http://www.teamenjuku.com, so keep your eyes out.
We would like to thank the community for their continued support and hope that our race program will inspire those building SR Powered 240’s. Keep in mind, we are still using stock bottom end! Many thanks to Scott at Secret Services for his vast tuning knowledge and helping us achieve our goals. Hope to see you all out at the track and feel free to stop by and say hello!

Looks good, what times are you looking to go? What class are you running in? Hopefully not the Street class (only saying your kinda out-powered) not to diss, I just think low 10's will be the cutouff point to qualify. Good luck and hopefully i'll see you guys in Florida next year.
Haven't decided on class. We're going to be doing some test n tune to see what we can dial the car in at. Realistically it'll probably only go mid to low 10's, which isn't bad for an SR powered vehicle for now. We are still on stock bottom end so there's plenty of potential that hasn't been tapped yet.
But yeah, we are very well aware of the competition out there, and we are not only out-horsepowered, but don't have the finances that most of the other racers out there do. We're just out there to have fun

There is absolutely nothing wrong with running "only" mid to low 10s. I think that's an amazing accomplishment for any 4 cylinder car.
And like you said, there is still a lot more potential.
BTW, not trying to thread jack, so feel free not to answer, but on that Enjuku site, does "Rays 98 240sx" have any numbers?

Uh yeah I've realized that, but the majority of the people in this forum are just interested in the Drag Racing scene in general and are curious about what's to come in 2004. There are plenty of other non-Honda related vehicles in this forum...
