Default S2K oil filter in ITR

Has anyone used an OEM s2000 oil filter on an ITR. A friend at the local Honda dealership told me to use the s2000 filter because it would be better for the B18c5 motor. Thoughts?

Your friend probably told you this because the s2k filter is the only one that didn't change to the new smaller higher oil pressure design.

My local honda dealer wanted $10.99 for it
I did some searching and found out that Filteh makes Bosch now so thats what I switched to. Do some searching under oil filter, theres tons of info on the new change

the new s2000 filter supposed to be the same size as POH filter, which was discontinued and probably not easy to find by now.. if i ever need to re-supply my filters, i'd probably go for s2000..
