Fartcan tuner rusted junk.

I had one on my LS years back, it rusted at the seam welds all over the place like 6 months after I got it. It had a farty grapefruit shooter sound and was 2" to 2 1/4" diameter with at least one bottleneck.

Ask around the Integra forum, I'm sure there will be more than a few posts about it there. And for certain there are sound files of it on http://www.team-integra.net/index.asp You'll need to sign up but theres lots of other helpful stuff there too so it's worth it.

I wouldn't get it again, and I wouldn't get it for an R, since it isn't an upgrade in performance.

Just to clarify a bit, I have a 99 Si, I just posted here since the C5 and B16 are more alike that say, a civic EX or Integra LS

Also I ordered the stainless steel Evo 2

But I was just curious as to how it would sound before I installed it

Yeah but the n1 is just an axle back. Probably not what he was looking for but who knows...

But for $335 shipped from IPS, you can't beat that

It actually sounds quite a bit different on the Si, IMO.. I had it on my JRSC'd Si before my R.. I liked it on the civic, thought it sucked on the ITR..

Really though, there are plenty of more free flowing exhausts on the market, especially for the money..

I have it on my 99' GSR w/ JDM 4-1 and carsound cat. I don't think it sounds too bad. I'll try to get a clip of it tomorrow if I get time...

Yeah I got it for $490 shipped... and stainless was my only option, so it was the cheapest, plus I had always heard Evo's were great

Yeah a clip would be great

If you already bought it, why are you worried about clips? You'll hear it soon..

Seriously though, don't expect any gains out of it..

Hmm just curious why dont you expect any gains out of it? I know exhausts dont amount to much by themselves, but the piping on the Evo isnt different from say a Hiper, N1 or others... all around 63 mm piping

We are entertaining this more and more and it's not even related to the the Type-R or the B18C5.

So it should be CLOSED!

i don't see the harm though.. this site is about helping other with tech knowledge, which we're (now) doing.. at least somewhat.. worst case, just move it - don't lock it..

I had it on my si as well. I guess i dont understand how people say this doesnt make power when it can support 300+whp cars. I had it on my turbo si (NOT 300+whp and it was a great exhaust. Had it for 3+ years and not one quality related problem. No problems period i should say. I live in oregon where we get a little of everything for climate and this exhaust stood up to all of it. This was on a b16, NOT an itr.

yeah, i wasn't knocking it's quality.. although I have seen them rust quite a bit..

if i had a 300+ hp turbo car, and i had a greddy evo instead of an exhaust meant for a turbo application, i would be stupid..

If I remember correctly, there is one at the beginning of the b-pipe and one further down, where it bends to go over the rear LCA.. very similar bottlenecks to the OEM ITR exhaust..

Thanks everyone for the replies... and yeah I'm not gonna have more than 275 whp max, so I dont think the exhaust will be restrictive.
