the group av has an indentation in the center of each spoke, these are just flat, other than that they do look very similar though.

considering we had no idea who made these rims, i think he got pretty lucky. plus mazdaspeed makes about 15 different wheels(actually volk makes them), the chances of stumbling accross this set on ebay is one in.... alot.

no feeling the gold though, do you think the anodization can be removeed without too much hassle?, like a wired brissle brush and a dremel maybe, turn the wheels into a flat raw finish.

those are RegaMaster EVOs made Desmond in Japan...if those are the wheels you are talking about.
