V6 into 4cyc SWAP
how much of a difference is the accord with a V6 in it? i am considering buying a 4 cyc 1998 accord, and was wondering if it would be too hard to swap a V6 engine into down the line.
anythings possible with lots of money but i wouldnt recommend doing ur swap...its better off jus buying a v6...ive never seen a v6 into 4cyl swap(accord wise)...i dont think its possible to do the swap and be within budget or within reason at all...v6's have a longer nose and 4cyl have a shorter one..thas why body kit company's specify whether u have a 6 or 4 banger....
make no sense......i say forget about the V-6....unless you get the manual transmission one....if you decide to go automatic V-6....id rather settle for the 4 cyl....you could always do a h22 swap and turbo that bitch
dont do it! save your money, or go turbo or h22. the v6 swap will put you in a world of pain and financial debt (exaggerating, but it's not an easy swap and it will cost much more than it's worth) in exhange for a mediocre v6 (as far as performance goes...it's a great engine in terms of comfort and economy), with very little aftermarket support.

the acura 3.2 tl type s 6 speed bolts up to the v6...but without that transmission the motor is bunk b/c it loses everything though the auto tranny...you are also looking at changing the suspension as well (since v6 is obviously heavier)...it also uses the 5 lug hubs and bigger rotors and callipers and all that junk too...after it's all done you are looking at $6000+ i'd say...just save your money and stick with a 4 cylinder or buy a v6 accord instead of swapping it
