its not a huge thing but its greatly appreciated by me that he did that. little stuff like that goes along way towards good business relationships. heck, im a nobody and if i call a salesman or product guy and he is friendly and not rushed to get rid of me on the phone, ill give him my business just for being friendly and helpful. even at a sacrifice of a few extra dollars.

John did the same for me when I was contemplating buying some used slicks. He called me up and explained to me how slicks react to temp. and different car setups. All in all I was VERY impressed at the extent he went to help me out.

I have to give props to John too. He took a couple days to help me choose a slick size for my application, had me call him on his day off (does he get any of these) and was very nice. I have only had two (Secret Services and Golden Eagle Mfg) answer my questions like he did. This is why I <edit>refer people that need slicks to John</edit>. Even if they know what size they need for their application I send them to John because he has good prices too. I will buy my slicks from him as long as he is around.

last weekend, i was having traction issues with the 13" drag radials. i had tried using all the tire know how i knew, but i was getting nowhere fast. i decided to give john a call at around 8:30pm EST(i'm guessing 11:30 west coast time), i explained my situation to him and we came to the conclution that the poor weather was one of the factors why i was having a lack off traction. while i was on the phone with john, i could hear his daughter on the background! thank you john, next time 12's it is
