Any R's that wanna go wingless, have you considered "swapping" hatches? Is it possible?

I offer you: OEM Wingless Hatch (complete, glass, wiper, etc) mint, 30k miles.
I ask from you: OEM Type-R Hatch (complete) with wing, mint.


You get out of it: An OEM wingless hatch - no holes to fill.
I get out of it: A Type-R Wing - no drilling into my OEM hatch.

 

possible..but probably only worthwhile if both cars have same color hatch.

Thats what i'm trying... My car is Flamenco Black Pearl (99 LS), and I believe the 2000 ITR came in this color as well.

It does, at least the 00 did.

I knew what you meant, and regardless even if you added a PY hatch/wing you wouldn't be the only one in the world (there was at least 1 at the expo like this last year.)

Odds are against you (in our group at least and thats a bunch of black R's) especially since Brian suddenly put his back on for LRP after being wingless at the Glen. Might be easier if you posted a For Trade post in the Classifieds forum?

Heck, considering shipping costs (and yes I understand you trying to trade in NY because of this) it might just be more effective cost and time wise to get a Comptech piece.
