ok, i just got my car back with a new motor...woooo! anyway...i noticed 2 things different since ive gotten it back. 2 questions:

1. ok, when i first start the car up and when accelerating i hear a rattle sound comin from the driverside. at first i thought maybe my new clutch was put in wrong..but thats ont he other side of the car, then i thought maybe a cv joint or something but those dont move when the car is started. i narrowed it down to the noise only happenin when the motor is under any kind of load. so i started thinkin the motor mount. i had a friend check under the hood for me while i moved the car forward. he said he could see the bolt on the driverside mount movin when i realeased the clutch and started moving. tried tightening it and no good so ima guess and say i have a bad mount? what do you think.


2. ok , now that my car has been put back together, i noticed that when im in gear and i give the car gas the shifter moves when im accelerating. never did that before. what do you think could be causing that?

Not sure about 1.

On 2. could be the shiftlinkage is loose at the shifter.

 

1 and 2 goes along with each other.

It's your motor mount(s). You need to identify them or replace all. It's up to you.
