yeah I put them on myself, it is real easy on our years.
for a spring compressor, here is what I did, since me and my friend TurboMiata(also on this forum) where doing our suspension at the same time. He went on and rented a spring compressor from Autozone like $50.00 we had it for about 3 weeks if not more, turned it back in and got the full money back.
Really though, it's not hard. As my friend always says..... Cars come apart the way they look.
But if you have not purchased any yet, and we become ok friends, i could probably help you, unless you would like to do it your self.
Without complications I could probably do it in 2 to 3 hours.

im getting a set tommorow of everything goes as planned.
i dont think i could do the whole install by my self..
so i eitehr need someone to help me or get them installed at a shop[which id rather not do if i dont have to]
also does it require an alignment after installing sleeve type coilovers?
i still have stock shocks too so ill either wait till i get some koni's or kyb's or go ahead and install them now..im not sure..
anyways you gonna be up in town this weekend>?

nah not until the 5th, if I where you I would wait until you got shocks, and also you will need a camber kit or adjustable controlarms for a proper allignment.
I am still yet to get a camber kit, but I will eventually.
if you can afford it gett Koni's I like them alot in my friends Miata

Hey guy have you ever raced that thing? Just curious about how the motor does in there? I have an 89 standard h/b with d16z6 only manage to get 15.9 out of it. I have a greddy turbo going on soon though.

nice 1st gen....I like the wheels. And by the way, I didn't need NOS or boost to see 14s...just a B16 to haul my tubby EF. What does your car run and at what alt.?

I'm not sure of my altitude, I'm near Pittsburgh, PA . I'm getting dynoed next friday to do some cam and ignition timing tuning. I'll do a 1/4 run then. Right now it's at about 14.96 or so.
