Default Anyone used R-1 ITR seat copies? Look good, but comfy?

Just trying to see if anyone's used the R-1 ITR (black w/red stiching) seats in their 3G Integras. They look pretty similar to the ITR's, but are obviously different. Post pics if you have them or have found them. They're pretty inexpensive compared to other seats (Sparcos, Recaros)...so any comments are welcome. Thanks.

Some of my friends use these seats in their race cars. They seem to like them.

they look like recaros. I bet you could take them to an apulstry shop and have "recaro" stitched on them and no one would know the difference. lol

Man, I forget where I saw them (I think it was groupbuycenter.com) but they didn't say R1.

They were even marketed at "recaro look alikes" lol

However, I just dont like the Idea that they come with a "universal slider/bracket" I dont think that's all that safe.

Awesome to hear that people do approve of them. Not to sound cheap, but I've seen sets of R-1 ITR look-a-likes for like $300 including sliders. This sound too good of a price to be decent seats? Any other pics would be awesome.

What about safety? some of these seats are poorly built and have cheap rails...get into and accident and boom your whole seat comes of the rails. Im not saying the R-1s are bad seats but concider the safety factor on some of these seats..you get what you pay for.

so i suppose u think people with rotas are ricers? if u can't really tell the difference quality and appearance wise... then i'd say it's worth it. some name brands are even just rebranded generics... and yes... i have rotas...

as for the seats... i've seen pics and have been quite interested on learning more about them.

THey are comfortable, but the only thing that I did not like is that when you get out of the seat you kinda have to lift your bottom up and bring it over the sides of the seat. After a while of all that rubbing, it starts to wear down and discolor from the constant rubbing, it starts to fade. But thats not for a while. Other than that there comfy...

What is a good price to pay for these and will they bolt right on to my stock rails?

I dont think they will bolt up to your stock rails but you can get then with rails for a verry good price.
