Info on a 94-99 integra
I'm gettin cash, i'm trying to find either a 94-99' Integra LS or GS-R
anything under 100k miles would ROCK
I would like your guy's input on which model i should get and what would be the average pricing, im looking for most likely a stock car without alot of addons done to it, i'm gonna try to buy a car with like no special work done to it..
so how much would a 94-99' LS or GS-r range to ?
and a gs-r is 35hp more than an LS and has leather correct?
thanks~

what are visible points/ things/ that will bring a price down, so when I do check out these cars and negotiate i have things to go by...
blue book value, say theyre selling for around 5995 and the bluebook is 3950$ what would i go about saying regardless of "well the bluebook value is 3950$
ive read about timing belt, water pump before 90k miles and if the car is over 90k miles and they haven't changed it what would I go about on doing so and how much would those things take off the price?

my buddy is trying to sell his black gsr with under 60k on the odo. but he lives in MA, so it would probably be pretty tough, unless you really want it and fly down here for a test drive.
first thing I suggest you look for is a clean title and a single owner car, hard to come by yes....but worth the wait.
If your looking for a 4k-6k price range your probably not going to find anything with low miles. Your mostly looking at the 94-95 GSR's (which are the best
). In this case, your going to have to look hard to find one in good condition. Try and find an old women with one or something that didn't beat on it. Check the compression and do a leakdown test to check out how the engine is doing. There are a good amount of things you need to look for when spending your cash on a vehicle, the best thing to have is patience. I would also look for a car that hasn't been modified, try to get one in stock trim.

this has to happen by like 2months
i need to prepare for what im gonna do..
if i find either a nice LS or a leather GS-R
if its under 6k that'd be great...
but i need to know like details on the car of how I can negotiate the price, and **** like if hes changed oil every 3000 miles blah blah blah all that and if he hasnt how much the price would be around

Well you give us the car information and we'll let you know if we think its a good deal. Your not making a ton of sense......
Oil every 3k
Maintenance checkups (waterpump, timing belt, plugs, etc)
Condition of the car on the inside/outside
Engine condition (compression test/leakdown test)
How many owners/Clean title
Mileage/Year/Model
How is was driven, who the owner was, was it modded
If you like it, what options does it have....
These are things you should keep in mind, there are other things too. The fact that you need to make a decision in 2 months, isn't too bad of a time frame, you should find a ton of GSR/LS by that time (H-T classifieds, Autotrader, Ebay, etc). I'd personally buy from a personal owner because I think Dealer markup is nuts. But hey....its your car. Make sure you give yourself options, don't fall in love with a car for the wrong reasons (appearance/mods)...those lead you in the wrong direction.

dude my problem is i dont know whats a good teg to buy i see alot with alot of different price ranges... ;/ i DONT want a modded car and what do you mean by "good title"
That LS is clean. Looks like it was well taken care of. And its under 100k
. One owner is always good, call the guy and talk to him. Listen closely to him, see if he is just bragging up the car or see if he really cares about the car. Ask if he has maintenance receipts, see whats been done to the car. Ask if its a clean title...meaning not stolen/crashed. It says best offer so see how low he will go. Then, of course its always good to check out the car in person...see how it drives. Check each gear for grinds, check under the hood, take it to an acura dealer and have them inspect it. Remember 6 g's is a lot of money, make sure your buying a good car. Don't just throw your money around.....
Now just looking at that page yes that does sound like a good deal, call the guy and talk to him. See how low he will go, talk to him about the car.

"CLEAN TITLE" meaning that the car didnt have any accident, (wrecked) salvage or impound backrounds thats wut it is .....ya heard...... its gonna be hard to find any GSR for 6 grand clean everything and low miles that crazy...... if u want gsr the prise is about 8 and up..... look at here theres a lot....http://www.cars.com/search/used/cc/s...1C%FD%5C%14%FD)0%04)0T%FD%FD%FD*%FD%FDHO%FDK-%FDL%FD%FD%FDK%FD%FD)%FD%FD*%FD%FD%FD%01%FDNI%FD%F D%FD%FD%1B%2B8%FD%FD%FD%FD%FD%FD)%18%1A%18%18%FDU% FD%01%19%08%13a%FD%FD8%FD%FD%FDl%FD%FDU06%FD314%FD 4Ds%1C%FD*%1B%FD*%13%3D%23%0B%03%23C%FDq%FD%FD%FD% 40%FD%FD%1A%1AZ%FD%FD%1A%1B%FD%FD%FD4%FD%08d%1EP%F D%FD%FD%FD%FD%FD%FD%26%08%00%002%FDP%FD&searchType =27&cid=&src=

that red teg i showed u has 11 reports on the vin number... that meaning it doesnt have a "CLEAN TITLE" because half the cars on autotrader have at least 10+ and up reports on the vin
http://www.autotrader.com/find...st=35
thats a GSR for 5g's with 17 reports on the vin number
i feel like such a clewless newbie
dude the ******* fishy thing is that car has exactly 100000 miles.. either theres a dumbass who ******* reduced it to that... or wtf is that all about

no im not kidding, i still have to save my money, talk to him, go up there blah blah... :-/ i dont have a car right now. so 40 min IS ALOT
if you are saying the decision has to be made in 2 months, then the market for cars is going to change alot. I would just stay on the board and lurk around and read for a while, then when you get the money needed to buy a car, look at whats out there.

That car is 50 miles away. You should be thanking god. Thats a mircale to actually find something you like in the same area. Another thing, grab a good friend and head down to see it. Its well worth the trip, even if you don't get it you gave yourself a shot at it. I don't think you realize what it takes to buy a car and to pick one out. You seem to be very lost. Can your parents help you out? Or perhaps some older siblings. Im sure you just don't have 6 g's kicking around without any guidance. I would check with them and get a ride to see it. Your not going to get lucky and have your neighbor sell the car your looking for.
My situation: I waited patiently for 2 years for find the right 95 GSR with low miles. took me that long, but I waited. And to this day its the best decision I made. I found one with 56k on the odometer and it was a single owner. I traveled to New York to see it and put a downpayment on it. I then traveled back again with the rest of the money. If you look closely you'll see that I am from Maine. Thats about a 7-8 hour trip...ONE WAY. Without even knowing the area or state, blind luck with a map from mapquest.com. Talk about frustrating, lots of time lost and lots of miles on cars that weren't mine. I had friends that would take me though, granted I paid them for tolls, gas money, food and anything else they needed. But I got the job done, and now I have a "perfect" car (in my eyes). It was well worth the wait, I developed knowledge about GSR's or integras in general far before I ever bought one so I knew exactly what to look for. I think you need to do the same, and you need to realize its a lot harder then you think, but your situation seems fairly easy compared to mine.

when people put their ads up they don't always put the exact mileage, just a round number, the best way to find out is to go and see it
