Default Jackson Supercharger Question?

Will a Jackson Supercharger made for a B18C5 (GSR) fit on a B18B1 (LS)? Any help on this would be great. Thanks

They will not fit...

B18c5 is ITR, B18c1 is GSR. In either case, you will need to drill the manifold to make it fit a B18B1 (LS) head.

GSR will only bolt right onto a GSR head. ITR & B16 kits are the same kit, and the LS fits the LS.

newgsrdriver is correct but why don't you just buy the jackson kit for the b18b1 (ls). My buddy has one on his civic with an ls swap, so I know they make them.

Well, the benefit that you get by running a B16/ITR/GSR kit is the M62 blower, which is more efficient and flows more air than the M45 included with the LS kit.

Is it worth it to get the kit and drill the manifold? That I dont know, since I havent done it myself. I dont know if there are any other small modifications needed to make it fit other than drilling the manifold, that only someone who has put the kit on their LS themselves would know. IE needing longer vacuum hoses for some connections or relocating a sensor or something.

It's actually a really easy swapover to the M62 as long as you already have a B series jrsc kit. Check out http://www.theoldone.com as Endyn has a how to on their site.

I have a jrsc ITR manifold that needs about 10 more minutes of work before it's converted to B18b spec. The holes are drilled, it just needs some tapping for coolant lines.

cover the shipping and paypal me $25, and it's yours.
I like to help a fellow jrsc guy.

Thanks everyone for your help in this question. The reason behind this question was because I was thinking about buying a used JRSC that came off of a B18C1. My initial thought was that the JRSC for a B18C1 would not fit on a B18B1. And as your answers provided it to be....it would just be best to find a used JSCR for a B18B1. Thanks for all of your help.
