im having a problem wit my car i got acura 96 teg LS. everytime i start the car my maintenance required light on my cluster blink like 10 times and then it stop after blinkin 10 times it stop it dont stay on... but im wonderin if it really need maintenance.... please help guys...

 

If you, I would definately take it in for a maintainence check. a.k.a changing the water pump, timing belt, etc...

 

thats a scheduled maintenance reminder light... it will do that at certain predetermined mileage points to let you kno that your approaching a recommended scheduled maintenance interval. Eventually it will come on and stay on solid. YOu can undo this whole thing and reset it very simply if u want. Thats what the dealership will do anyway after they service your car... there is a small black box mounted to the back side of the dash panel directly above the driver's leg area(below the steering area). On this small square box is a blue reset button. To reset... simply start your car and while in idle hold the button down for couple seconds until the light goes away in ur cluster.
