Good question about the PW0 ecu. HELP!! please

Default Good question about the PW0 ecu. HELP!! please

Can I chip a Pw0 ECU and get rid of the knock sensor??? I have OBD1 in my hatch and don't know and didn't find the answer searching.

yes you can get rid of the knock with a chip, but there is no way you can make the PW0 OBD1, just get a chipped P28...and if u want a chipped p28 with 2 chips (175)..PM me

Thanx for the answer, the PW0 is for a friend, I alredy have a chipped P28.

Umm???? I dont think there was ever a "PWO" that was OBD1.


I know there is are PR3's that are both OBD0 and OBD1, but Ive never heard of an OBD1 PWO.

Correct me if Im wrong, but Im pretty sure there is no OBD1 PWO's.

U are right, I was just asking if I can disable the knock sensor in the PW0 ECU cuz i couldn't do it in my P72 GSR ECU.

link the knock sensor input to ground with a 1k resistor, should get rid of the CEL.

but there is no way you can make the Pw0,(to) OBD1...now is it clear? like you cant convert the ECU to OBD1 cuz its OBD0
