I'm going home for Christmas next Thursday and I'm planning on painting my silver rota slipstreams flat black. There is some high temperature paint at Wal-Mart and I was going to use that after I cleaned them really good. Should I primer the rims first?

 

i painted some stock rims once and just hit them with rattle can paint.
