I just swapped in a Y8 in my 90 si. Anyways, when I press on the gas, it goes, but it takes it a sec to kick in.

Timing must be off. Don't worry, we'll look at it on monday. Have to fix idle before we can set timing 100 percent. Go easy on the car for now.

(That, and your idle is so screwed that of course throttle response will be off)
