what clutch?
if you have an 88 transmission, you need 88 clutch - if it is not, you need 89 clutch or you could swap to a 90-91 flywheel and use larger 90-91 clutch
Yes you want a clutch from a 88 si if you have a 88 zc tranny. The 88 has a differant input shaft spline count than 89-91. If you have a 89 or later tranny use a clutch from a 90-91 crx or civic. It is the biggest.

yea i believe thats the only way, sucks if its the only way to find out especially if its your daily driver b/c u gotta pull it and wait for the clutch to come in.

dude if its an 88 (like mine) i bought my act clutch and disc from nippon for $239.00 the part # is AL1-HD00, THE ONLY PROBLEM WAS THAT THE ALIGNMENT TOOL THEY SENT ME DIDNT FIT SO I USED A UNIVERSAL ONE AND IT WENT RIGHT ON.
