Are there any online instructions on how to install coilovers on an RSX
Here is one
http://www.jdmuniverse.com/for...13225
But really if you have the Helms manual + the install instructs from the company you buy from it is pretty easy.
Two tips I can give is
1) when doing the front put something under the front rotor so it does not drop when top of strut is released. Then be careful as you take out from strut not to bump or drop on the CV boot. Also get a tool... gear puller to remove the ball joint. Dont use a hammer although many have.
2) on the rear shocks after jacking up car & removing the wheel & top two nuts use a jack to preload the rear spring ie: use a block & jack the rear spring bottom up a bit to relieve the pressure on the bolt. ( because the shock is longer than the space even with the lower arm hanging )After bolt is out release slowly. To put the new one in set the top in start the 2 nuts then again jack the bottom of the spring retainer to fit the shock in place.
All in all easier than it sounds dont worry. I wtook my time & did it alone. My fronts took 1 hour & the backs took 1:45 because I didnt realize to load the suspension & make it easy to remove
PS: here is the tool to pop the joint in front. Cost only like 15 bucks at Sears on sale
