those and stuff like mugen airbox are a rip off though.

You pay for the quality of Comptech, Mugen, etc. Also, you get relatively the same gains without the "risk" of sucking up water. Oh, and there is no way to make it quieter.

I know my friends GSR CAI makes a hissing sound before he shifts. it's pretty loud.
