Default Body Kit for my RSX

My again. Thinking about getting an Air Force Dynamic Body kit. I have installation questions. As a person like me, turning 19, little car tuning knowledge, how hard would it be to install a full kit like that? i know the back bumber parts of the kit are just little wings or whatever, but as for those and side skirts I think I could do, but the front bumber, does that require shaving or molding? what about paint? does that body kit come fully painted to match? I think it comes white but might havta have it repainted. I surelly don't want my car driving around with unpainted kit....ewwww... either way. post your body kit experiences here. thanks.

dude to tell you the truth from someone who is kind of been in the import scene for a while (admiring and building cars) you dont need a big *** kit to look good...all you need is maybe a nice add on kit like Cwest or the JDM R kit....but if u insist, have a professional body shop do a full body kit for you, dont do it yourself b/c its gonna turn out like those cars you see on the street and just go " UGH, did that guy really think it was gonna look good ? " ...so take it to a pro so they can paint and put it on for you... good luck with whatever you do.

The more popular brands such as Wings West should fit without major modifications. But some might not fit so well and you have to do some cutting and shaving. Another thing is aftermarket bodykits don't come pre-drilled so that's another challenge for you to drill at the right place. It's not something impossible for yourself to do as most people have done it themselves. The first time might be difficult and take longer but after that every damn bodykit mounts the same way. Maybe you can get a friend to help you installing yourself? Test fit it and drill before you get it painted. That's one of the reasons why I'd buy OEM or JDM kits because they are pre-painted and everything just bolts right on.

I'm still shooting for Air Force One. You people can say it's ugly, but it's all a matter of personal preference. But i'm not ricing it out. although you'll probably flame me again and say that I am, but I believe "ricing" out a car includes euros, a huge wing, and loud exhaust. My car is far from that. no wing, never going to get one, no euro's, stock lights are bomb, exhaust, deep sound, not high pitched like the civics.

Body kits = waste of money. IMO but whatever floats your boat. If I were you get something useful like headers or intake or vafc2. Somthing performance oriented. Then when your car is fast you can spend all your money on body kits and crap like that.

I don't think anyone here cares if you rice out your car or not. Your the one driving it and your the one that is going to have people giving you those "wtf?!?" looks. Just take it to a bodyshop. Then they can professionally rice it out for you
