Gsr tranny fluid GM syncromesh
Im sure this has been cover many times, i have serached but came up with many undecisive choices. I have a 95 4dr gsr with a stock gsr tranny at 92k miles. I was thinking of using GM syncromesh "friction modified". is this good to use? I can feel my car go into gears when shifting, feels likesi m breakin my gears. Will this GM Mesh help my car out? regualr or friction modified? Also i live in washington, and i heard this stuff is expensive and hard to find. is there anywhere in washington that i can go or anyone with hook ups or anywhere? thanks. Could you guys be specific on WHAT to put in my car not just a gm syncromesh or jsut a basic label. i dont wanna put the wrong thing in my car. thanks
is it a auto or manual. if its manual, i would stick with the "honda transmission fluid" you can get it at the dealer for a couple bucks a quart. if its auto, beats the hell outta me.
for this stuff just bought my second set of gm synchromesh they run out quick. worth buying worked on my h22 tranny had ticking noise. now gone. gsr tranny third gear grind, also gone . just poured in two days ago.
i have a gsr mt w/ 140K on it. bad grinds, clicking, hard down shifting, etc..
i drained my stock tranny fluid, flushed the tranny and filled with one quart GM syncro mesh ADVANCED formula and one quart Mobil1 high-milege gear oil. my shifts are soo BOMB, no noises no nothin.

my 3rd and 4th gears were grinding like a bitch, almost had to replace the tranny. replaced my redline fluid with gm synchromesh friction modified (part #12377916 - can be found in any chevy dealer, but most gm dealerships should have them) for $11.34/quart. buy 3 of them.. best 40 bucks i ever spent. no more grinds anymore
you wont regret it

Just go with the GM Friction Modified and you'll be very happy. If you have troubles finding it you can pay shipping costs and the cost of the fluid and I can get some for you at a local GM store. Becaue I believe they have it in stock in my area. Just let me know if you have troubles finding it, or if its too expensive in your area.

gm friction modified synchromesh is awesome. I put some in a while back, and have never looked back. No more third gear grind or reverse grind
