Hey, newbie question here.

Brought a 94 Integra, and want to know more about the model itself. I know this questions been asked a lot, but I couldnt find anything to help me [yes I tried a search]

1994 Honda Integra ZXi 3door lift back
1.6i Auto
KD Code: YY3579
Vin: 7B6DC1AJ011006034
Engine Number: ZC6210468
CC: 1590

Not sure if thats enough info..but its all I got :D
What I'd like to know is things like VTec? DOHC? SOHC? Anything else about the engine? Just recently purchased ther car, and I want to know everything Its my baby

Thanks in Advance....and how do you guys know this stuff? Is there a site with that sort of techinical info?

Well they don't offer that model Integra here in the States, but I believe you have the 1.6L motor that comes in our Civic EX... To answer some of your questions it would be a single cam, VTEC motor in your car... I'm not familiar with that VIN, but the engine code denotes it as JDM 1.6 single cam...

Does your car have the front end with four round lights, or the one piece "JDM" front end...?

94 = 4 round lights in all countries.

Never heard of a DC1 before heh

Yeah me niether... Probably because it's only offered over seas...
Sounds like it'd make a fun daily driver... I'd rock one to leave my DC4 at the house...

yea the DC1 is the integra that comes w/ the 1590cc SOHC VTEC motor in Japan(and maybe sum otha countries).........

Yea, sounds about right, coz it was imported from Japan a few years back. Sweet as, cheers dudes!

Didn't realise that you guys in the states got different cars. Are they assembled there?

I'm also a little confused as to who makes the Integras now....Its not Honda right, Acura does? But there's nothing on their site....its a seperate site...
Only just got a Integra, but want to know everything
