Default dvd noise

i just posted a topic about the winding noise my car was making. i figured out that because my dvd player was hooked up to my ciggarette lighter it makes the noise. when i pul it out it stops it. can i splice the wires and wire it to my 12v+ and ground of my deck?

Tap into your ignition harness or your radio harness.
