Here is my latest car modification. I had gauge rings installed in my Nissan Maxima recently and loved them. These rings are appealing in day and night. During the day, the silver outlines the gauges and offers a look of elegance. At night, the deep rings reflect the dash lights and highlight the gauges itself. My description alone doesnt do the rings justice so have a look at the photos.

Here are the night shots:


The dash originally used polarg super white 194 bulbs. I went for a different look and swapped them for amber 194s. They are actually brighter and softer on the eyes at night. The end results are exactly what i was hoping for.

These photos were taken with my 4 year old Canon 2.0 mp Digital Elf. It shows you need not use a fancy camera to take great shots.

I hope these photos help inspire others.

 

How exactly did you mount them?

 

I think it came out really nice. IT gives the cluster more of an "upscale" sort of look!
