Get your insurance co to take pictures of the car, I had to go through the same thing - car still shows up as a Integra GS on the insurance card....
Did you finally get that clutch installed?

I believe most Type-R's will show as RSes,GS/GSR's depending on the year and company. If you were dropped before, they probably want pictures of your car anyway. Many companies want pictures of "higher risk" cars and some even insist on it for any used car.

For you guys/ gals that are somewhat concerned about what coverage you have on your R, You might want to call your Broker or Agent asap- It would really suck to find out that your not going to be covered in the event of something really bad.
Don't fear that the premium might go up now, worry about not getting the correct amount latter.

Thats how all insurance will shaft u for sure, especially u just got drop by another due to bad records. They will tell u some estimate for a LS or GS and then when u open the envelope, it will be double because they found out how bad the R is!

Progressive definitely lists my Integra as a Type R. Rates aren't too bad either, $600 a year, I think and I don't have a stellar driving record
progressive list mine as a type-r, when i went to get the loan it was listed as a integra R at bank of america...my insurance went up 100 because of the type-r and stolen vichele..not too bad i guess

Not a good idea, if something happens and you get the value of the car from insurance, they will only give you the price of an RS instead of an R.
