HELP: Pioneer Amplifier - Red Light Flashing!?
The other day I was listening to music in my car, and suddenly the bass cut-out. The music wasn't playing loud at all...
It's a new Pioneer amplifier (180 watt) powering a 10" subwoofer. It was wired professionally, and worked great for about 6 months.
Now the red light at the center of the amplifier flashes, and it won't send any signals to the subwoofer.
The owner's manual doesn't have this problem anywhere, neither does the pioneerelectronics.com website.
If anybody knows what the problem is, could you please post here - offering your suggestions of what I should do. I checked all connections already, and everything seems to be fine.
Thanks in advance to those who help...

Could have clipped it, try pulling the fuse and see how that looks, if good shut the power down for a bit and turn back on. Just a maybe...
First off check fuse next to battery if that is good. You might have fried the voicecoil on your sub sending your amp into protection, try disconnecting the speaker wires on the amp and see if that makes the Led to stop flashing. If not check the remote wire with a multimeter to make sure that it is a constant 12.5 or higher volts. If you have good ground, 12.5 volts or higher remote turn on and battery voltage, and your sub is good, than I would take it back to were ever you had it installed and have them check it out.
