Default Will a 91 B18A1 engine work for a 94 Integra that had a B18B1 engine?

I need to replace the engine in my 94 Integra. Right now I have access to a 91 B18A1 longblock for a really good price. I know the hp is only 130 in the older engine, but that does not really matter to me for this car. Is this enigine OBD I compliant or is it OBD 0?

Also, what is up with only being able to post 5 times within 24 hours?

Thanks for the IM's. It won't let me reply to you because of my status.

Mr. Beeks: Do you know what sensors I won't have with the 91 motor?

the engine will dropw in but a few things have to be changed
your car is obd 1 and the b18a is obd0
your cant just the b18a's trannie cuz its a cable trannie and you need a hydro trannie
and you need to use the obd 1 distrubitor and ecu

Yeah, it's compativle with a bit of work. IMO if the deal is THAT great, go for it, otherwise you can get a B18B longblock for rather cheap- for what it is!

if the head on the b18b is good take the b18a use the b18b head and the only other thing you will need is to remove the theromstat housing form the b18b and use it, becasue thats where the temp sensor is , as on the b18a it is behind the motor and can't be used. If you do this will will still have your 142 hp, from using the head and IM from the 94.

As for the computer and tranny don't touch any of it, use all of you old stuff
