Default the ATS USA 98' ITR in japan...

Yasu from ATS USA's 98' usdm ITR just went through a massive transformation. he shipped it over to J's Racing in japan for a extensive re-build. 4 lug conversion with big caliper/rotors, full lexan, fiberglass mini dash, and a slew of other weight saving mods. it's weight fueled up and ready to go is right at 1900 lbs. the only thing that worries me is the rollcage. i am not 100% sure it will meet SCCA's requirements for SPU. we'll find out in a few months when it arrives back in the states.

what's i find pretty amusing is there was a ton of people wanting his usdm front end. i picture a jdm sTuNnA running around, pointing to the bumper and fenders, and saying "it's USDM yO!". yasu will be doing a race in japan, before bringing the car back to the states. all i know is i can't wait to get my grubby little hands on it.... that is if i can fit my *** in the tiny little "JDM" sized seat. if anything will make me anorexic, it will be this car....

A new clutch to break!

I remember the conversation at TGIF but I thought it the hatchcrap that was being sent overseas. Didn't know it was a DC2R.

Someone should create and organize a website/message board where USDM & JDM can swap parts!

it went over there with the stock front, and while over there someone wanted to buy his stock nose, it was sold and a jdm nose installed.

Awwe Chris has got to find that old post in RRAX where that girl made those stupid Rice comments about his Civic and him copying Realtimes paint scheme and the useless wing and whatnot.

Good ****. Someone SHOULD make a website so people in Japan who jock the USDM look can swap parts with them. BTW, What kind of headlights are those?? They look different, or are they just some sort of covers for them?

well, those are not headlight covers. headlight covers suggest there are headlights.... there are not. what do you suggest? leave an open hole where the headlight once was? one of them is a duct directly into the intake. ricey? lol... i would like to see a pic of your car then.

yes, he still has the civic. both cars were built for SCCA's SPU (Sport Production Under ie. unlimited class) yasu will race whichever car tickles his fancy come race season.

I can't wait to see him in person, we are waiting to see each other's car for a while now, it should be interesting at the track.
