Valley Machine Shop in Fountain Valley, CA did my sleeving. but they are redoing it for free...I will let you know how it goes. Thanks.

When sleeves drop in that matter, it is definitely the installers fault. What happened was they were put in on a slight angle and then surfaced flat. Once the motor had some running time, the sleeves straightened out (settled), thus making them drop only on one side. I hope they learn from their errors but it could happen again on the reinstall.

Can sleeves still drop or shift after 12000 miles?

Can adding horsepower (80-150 hp) to same 12000 mile motor cause sleeves to drop or shift?

The sleeves that I were using were Darton...it is a pain in the *** to do it all over again....but when I get my car back it'll be just fine....I should have my car back by next weekend....I'll keep everyone posted.
