what kinda bulbs do they use?

 

how does the tach come out of the gauge cluster???

8200 redline is way to inviting with an engine that doesnt quite rev that high(b18b)...

 

its an hid retro fit so they use d2s bulbs. they have 1 month old phillips 4300k bulbs right now.

 

the tach is held in by about 4 contact screws on the back of the cluster. the screws are what makes contact with the flexible circuit board and doubles as mounts.

 

accept any kinda of trades for/towards the HIDs?

things i would deperately want would probably be bare b series block and or new suspension components.

 

ive got b16a3 that needs sleeves a little machince work(bearing committed suicide )

a jdm b16a but the block is fucked(good internals)

and the head from the a3(debating on if i want to keep it and throw it on my b18b)

what all has to be done if the bearing messes up? i would be interested if the block is still salvagable (b16a3) it would also be easier or me since it is an obd1 block. let me know and we might be able to work something out.

 

it nicked up the side of the block, nothing too major, it hit the bottom of the sleeve(its cyl. #4 IIRC) which put a little lip on the very edge of the sleeve, so the piston wont go down all way, hence need either new sleeves or have the little lip it made removed

where in new york? i might be heading to new york city a week or so after xmas. but we'll see. i can get a shipping quote otherwise. and yes the bumper is for 94-96 integras (or before the revamped headlight change)

 

I'm only a little north of NYC... that's perfect though, if you are indeed coming up to the city, let me know, as I will be more than happy to pick up the bumper from you... (hell, I'l take it on the train, lol)

i'll let you know hwo the plans go, there are some thigns coming up but we should be able to go to nyc abotu a week after new years. i'll let you know in any case. (it also depends on which car we take up there cause i cannot fit the bumper in a sol)

update for Wants_a_sol sorry for delay. the plexi glas (which they marketed as lexan) shattered so i'm actually waiting on word from another soler in egypt who migh tbe able to get actual molded clear lenses. i'm ordering two sets so the headlights that i would like to trade for your engine component will no longer have fluted lenses. tell me what you think. if its way late, maybe exchange items at the next east cost sol meet. let me know.
